When the Surgery closes the telephones are connected to an answering machine which will give the contact telephone number of the services providing out of hours cover throughout Ayrshire. This is a service for urgent care that cannot wait until the Surgery reopens. This number is 08454 242424.

EMERGENCY CARE SUMMARY
If you require medical after 6pm or at weekends, NHS24 and out of hours centers will be able to access your ECS records (Emergency Care Summary). This will tell the clinicians which drugs you are taking, all medications prescribed within the past year and whether you have had any adverse reactions. If you would like to see your Emergency Care Summary, please ask for a print out at Reception. This service will soon be available in Accident and Emergency and in all areas of Scotland. If you do not wish to have an Emergency Care Summary record, please inform the Practice Manager.
