Following our Practice Satisfaction Survey, Dr Sheward and Tracey Malone, Practice Manager met with some patient representatives to discuss the results.

Our Patient Participation Group meets approximately once every six months unless there was a specific reason to meet more often.
We hope to expand the impact of patient opinion on the running of the service and would encourage anyone with an interest in this to leave their name at our reception desk. We are keen to encourage younger patients to come forward and be part of the group.

Meetings at the moment take place on Wednesday afternoons.

At our last Patient Group meeting in December the Patient Group thought it would be a good idea to undertake GPAQ Questionnaire on our Practice Nurse.
The Practice Manager found out that GPAQ do a questionnaire especially for nurses, the partners agreed to pay for the questionnaires and the analysis to be undertaken.

The Practice decided to undertake the survey for the Practice Nurse Week beginning 7th January 2008. Please see attached slides for the results of this questionnaire.
